Our Team

Our Board of Directors consists of Seal Team Founder/Director Brent Shoemaker, John Maggard, and Matt Abercrombie. Brent is so grateful for these men who give their time, talents, and resources to benefit the development of Seal Team.

 

John Maggard (center) is the Executive Pastor of North Metro Church in Marietta, GA, where he has served on staff for the last 12 years. John's son, Jake, participated in Seal Team throughout middle and high school, graduating in 2023. John not only serves on the Board; he also serves as a Seal Team group leader.

 

Matt Abercrombie (right) has worked for over a decade in the hospitality and service industry. He uses his creative gifts and leadership abilities to help sell God's chicken at—you guessed it—Chick-fil-A! John has two sons involved in Seal Team and serves as a Seal Team group leader.
